Her superstar composer David opened the concert with his Winter Games and Love Theme From St. Elmo's Fire.

'It is so good to be back. Why? Because there is no country, I've been to many countries, that loves music more than the Philippines. This is true,' he told the crowd, per Philstar.com.

Back in February, the couple had a show in Washington D.C., where their three-year-old sonRennie David made his drumming debut.

The doting mom shared a clip of the moment to her Instagram, writing, 'Had a VERY special guest join us on stage for the first time #ProudMom.'

In the clip the toddler can be seen playing the drums with headphones on, while his famous father plays the piano and Katharine watches from the edge of the stage.

The star later clarified that it wasn't Rennie's drumming that could be heard at the show, and that he was simply copying along while drummer John JR Robinson played.

'By the way... I hope people realize that JR - the legend - @johnjrrobinson1 - our incredible drummer is drumming & Rennie is only copying to the best of his ability unmic'd - and it was cute to watch his first stage debut.'

While the drumming in McPhee's new video wasn't Rennie, the toddler has showed off his drumming skills in the past on both her and David's Instagram accounts.

In a video posted to Foster's account on Jan. 5, Rennie was seen practicing on his own drum kit, while Foster nodded along, impressed by what he heard.

McPhee and Foster married in June 2019 and welcomed their son in February 2021.

Last year McPhee revealed she and David sometimes don't see eye-to-eye when it comes to disciplining their son.

'I want to start disciplining [Rennie] and Kat's not really down with that,' Foster told People.

Meanwhile, the songstress clarified: 'No, that's not true. I just want to discipline in my own way.'

She later noted, 'It's just a different approach. I think his era of parenting is different than mine.'

McPhee explained: 'There's the more old-fashioned way of disciplining which involves time-outs and things like that.

'My take is that you can have more mindful parenting opposed to just assuming that a two or three-year-old can have time alone to reflect on what they've done poorly.'

Katharine McPhee, 39, and David Foster's, 74, son Rennie, three, made his drumming debut at the couple's Washington D.C. show on Sunday; they are seen February 3

The doting mom shared a clip of the moment to her Instagram, writing, 'Had a VERY special guest join us on stage for the first time #ProudMom'

The singer-songwriter added, 'I think the more new way of parenting is understanding that with a child, there's only so much that they can intellectually understand.

'Saying "That was really bad, that was really, really bad," gets into a shaming thing. I think disciplining is something that happens over time.'

By comparison, she said of her husband, whom she married in 2019, 'David's more results-based. He's like, "He can't just walk by and swat people."'

'Of course not. But he's two and a half and he's learning those things,' she added.

It comes after Foster's daughter, Amy S. Foster, came to his defense after an Instagram user criticized his parenting last month.

The songwriter, 50, countered the claims that her father abandoned his older children for his son Rennie and insisted that their relationship is 'great'.

'We love our dad,' she said in response to a social media user's comment on the music producer's Instagram post of Rennie drumming to Michael Jackson's Rock With You.

'Our dad loves us and we love how our dad is with Rennie,' she continued about their half-sibling — who is David's only son and only child with current wife Katharine.

Amy is one of David's five daughters, which also includes: Allison Jones Foster, 53; Sara Foster, 42; Erin Foster, 41; and Jordan Foster, 37.

Amy is David's only child that he shares with his first wife and Skylark bandmate, B.J. Cook, 81.

He shares Sara, Erin and Jordan with his second wife, actress Rebecca Dyer.

He was also married to songwriter and former actress Linda Thompson from 1991 to 2005 and model and reality star Yolanda Hadid from 2011 to 2017 before tying the knot with McPhee in 2019.
